Some poppy flowers on the island. . Inside the chateau in Cognac, learning about the old fortress before it was used to house cognac.

The chateau’s most expensive cognac it’s eau de vie from the 19th century. Only 4000€.

On a park bench in Cognac. Mom has worn me out. It’s hard to keep up with that lady.

the entrance to the WWII bunker in La Rochelle, followed by different rooms in the bunker, including the bar.

The small blue sail boats I spoke about in the harbor, where I’m sure we would have ended up in the water.Lastly, some of the food eaten. Roasted chicken with the best sweet potato purée, and a beer. That’s all for now! Prepare for a very lengthy post about visiting the beaches in Normandy!
